RPO

Recruitment Process Outsourcing: how an assignment runs, who the consultants are and when it fits.

Is an RPO assignment on-site or off-site?

At GetPro, RPO adapts to your needs as closely as possible. An RPO assignment can therefore run directly on your premises: the RPO consultants join your HR set-up. The service can equally run off-site: the recruiters work from our offices and devote themselves solely to your needs.

Learn more

What is the profile of an RPO consultant?

RPO consultants most often hold a five-year degree, from a leading business school or a specialised master’s in HR. They are experienced headhunters with many placements to their name across different organisations, so they adapt quickly to the way your company works.

Learn more

How does an RPO assignment unfold?

Once the RPO assignment is agreed, our consultants join your HR set-up. For the whole duration of the engagement, whether it runs on-site or off-site, our recruiters then devote themselves exclusively to your recruitment and HR needs.

Learn more

When is it worth considering RPO?

RPO is not suited to every company or every situation. It is, on the other hand, an ideal answer to an ambitious hiring plan, to a high volume of recruitment, or to seasonal hiring. RPO then optimises the recruitment process and brings the flexibility to adapt quickly to fluctuations in your needs.

Learn more

How much does an RPO assignment cost?

From 5 hires onwards, an RPO engagement works out 40 to 50% cheaper than a traditional recruitment service. The daily rate for an RPO consultant generally sits between €350 and €650, depending on the recruiter’s profile (seniority, specific technical expertise, etc.). Part of the fee can be indexed on performance, through a bonus per hire.

Learn more

What are the advantages of RPO?

RPO, or Recruitment Process Outsourcing, is a formidable lever for optimising your HR. It allows you:

  • to optimise the cost of your hires;
  • to take the pressure off your HR staff;
  • to deliver a high-quality candidate experience and strengthen your company’s appeal;
  • to benefit from a bespoke set-up that adapts to your peaks in activity.

Learn more

What is RPO?

RPO is the acronym for Recruitment Process Outsourcing. The principle is simple: a headhunter devotes themselves full time, over a given period, to your recruitment needs. It is a flexible set-up, ideal for coping with peaks in activity.

Science-based recruitment

Tests, psychometrics and assessment methods grounded in research.

MBTI, Big Five, PAPI: which personality test is the most relevant for recruitment?

Understanding a candidate’s personality is essential in a recruitment process. The recruiter has to work out whether the candidate will fit into their new team and their new company. Culture fit is a crucial dimension of any hire.

Between the MBTI, the Big Five, the PAPI and the DISC, it can be hard to know which test to choose. At GetPro we use the Big Five, which comes out of a long psychometric tradition and is today the consensus within the scientific community.

Learn more

How should you use a candidate’s personality assessment?

Personality analysis, by means of a test (Big Five, MBTI, etc.), brings out a candidate’s main personality traits. Test results can be neither good nor bad. What matters is checking the fit between the candidate and the company, by putting the results in perspective with the role and with the members of your team.

Can a candidate’s intelligence be measured?

Administering full IQ tests is not workable in a recruitment context. Assessments can nonetheless be used to gauge a candidate’s potential and level of aptitude.

At GetPro we estimate candidates’ general intelligence by measuring their fluid and crystallised intelligence. Fluid intelligence corresponds to the candidate’s logical reasoning and their ability to solve problems in unfamiliar situations. Crystallised intelligence, conversely, represents their capacity to draw on acquired skills, knowledge and experience.

Learn more

What is psychometrics?

Psychometrics is the study of every measurement method applied to the field of psychology. It produces a great deal of research that is valuable in recruitment, helping us better understand the various methods of assessing and selecting staff.

What does science say about candidate assessment?

There are many methods for assessing candidates. Researchers have examined each of them to establish which ones best predict a candidate’s future performance. The conclusion is that the most productive approach is to use aptitude and intelligence tests.

Learn more

What are the best methods for assessing candidates?

Broadly speaking, whatever the role you are hiring for, scientific research in psychometrics shows that the two most effective candidate assessment methods, used in combination, are:

  • an intelligence test + an integrity test
  • an intelligence test + a structured interview.

Many other assessment methods can of course be relevant, depending on the situation and the role concerned. Your recruitment process should always be thought through and tailored to the profile you are looking for.

Learn more

What is meant by science-based recruitment?

Every company has to recruit at some point. The aim is then to hire the person most likely to perform in the role. Many scientific studies have therefore looked into the different methods of assessing candidates, in order to establish which are the most effective. GetPro draws on this research so that its clients can hire with a high level of confidence.
